Grant Shepherd is a UK architect and co-founder of ALTER Architects. He leads creative design projects across different sectors with a teamwork-focused approach. He blends architecture with art and music by working with artists and musicians to rethink spatial dynamics. This method supports sustainability, community benefits, and creative collaboration, aiming to change how people experience buildings. At ALTER, he shapes the design vision, drawing on experience in public and private projects. His work is deeply connected to local places, focusing on well-made, clear, innovative, and sustainable architecture that helps communities. Shepherd also supports local and national youth projects, acting as an ambassador for youth charities, showing his dedication to community-focused architecture.
